hey all-
just here to do the intros. as you can see by that nifty little bar on the right, my name's emily. i'll be heading off to the DNC (through the Junior Statesmen Foundation) on 08.24.08., at which point i'll start blogging about my experiences there. as you can probably imagine, i'm already excited... we have gained access to Obama's acceptance speech, which is a great benefit of the event being moved to the (much larger) Invesco Center, and in any case i'm willing to bet that this is going to be a historic election. the only thing i'm worried about is internet access... that may end up being problematic, but trust me when i say i'll do my best. and i look forward to hearing from you-- feel free to email me at the address given on the side.
